This new Pershing 140 is the result of a collaboration between the Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy Committee, its Engineering Department and the architect Fulvio De Simoni. It is also the first Pershing built at the Ancona shipyard, specialising in the construction of steel and aluminium yachts of over 40 metres length. With this new flagship, the brand is entering a new era of design and construction, combining its tradition of innovation with its thirty-year experience. We had dreamed, Pershing did it and the adventure does not seem to end with this flagship – because a 170 is under research also to the drawings of Fulvio De Simoni, faithful to the brand since its creation.

 

Exterior facilities

The Pershing spirit is perfectly respected with the fluidity of the various decks and the twin lateral arches that are now a hallmark of the X range. Fulvio de Simoni has not simply reproduced a classic yacht comparable to what has gone before, as the profile reveals a totally new shape with a semi-vertical bow protected in its central part by a magnificent grille worthy of those of the most beautiful cars of yesteryear. The other strength of the designer is that he has perfectly integrated into the profile a master that extends into the forward part of the yacht without having any impact on the overall sporting lines. Certainly, the style of the 140 is imposing and will not leave anyone indifferent when she arrives in a port or zooms past at sea.[…]
